Dear Friends,
Last night was the world television premiere of A Bridge Life: Finding Our Way Home on the Documentary Channel. It was a spectacular success. About 70 of us gathered at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club, which graciously provided us with a space to watch the film on DirecTV and Dish. The movie kicked off at 8 p.m. followed by a great Q&A. To all those who came out, thanks from myself and the team at Two Cousins Entertainment for making the evening so special. You can read about it in an NBC blog here.

The DVD is now available for pre-order so please click on the DVD link on the index above and just follow the directions. The DVD hits stores on October 12th. We also need your help in getting the film out to the big box retailers so if you could please go to imdb to rate the film, and add A Bridge Life in your netflix queue, you’d be doing us a real favor. I’ve included links below for each. Please do so.

Again, thanks for supporting A Bridge Life. You’ve helped us show that one person can indeed make a difference when it comes to helping others in need. That’s an idea we could all use a little more of in this world. And we’re spreading it.
All the Best,
Josh Grossberg
Director
My team and I are very excited to announce A Bridge Life will be making its World Television premiere on the Documentary Channel on Monday, August 30th at 8 p.m. ET with an encore presentation at 11 p.m. !
The date coincides with the 5th anniversary of the disaster so it’s shaping up to be a memorable and poignant night not only as we’ll be bringing you a riveting never-before-heard story about Katrina’s aftermath, but also as we look ahead at what lies in store for the Gulf Coast in the wake of the BP oil catastrophe.
The Documentary Channel is on Channel 197 on the Dish Network and Channel 267 on DirecTV.

I know many of you have Time Warner Cable or Comcast. Please call your local cable provider and ask them to add the Doc Channel, which is currently in 25 million households nationwide. The channel is currently in talks with Time Warner so if we’re lucky, they may add the channel to its roster later this month before A Bridge Life‘s premiere.
If not, I’ll be hosting a viewing party here in New York on that night: Details TBA. And a special edition DVD including lots of extras, such as an interview with former FEMA head Mike “heckuvajob Brownie” Brown will be available for pre-order beginning Aug. 29 via the Channel’s Doc Store and A Bridge Life’s site. The DVD ships Oct. 12.

On a side note, speaking of this Website, we’re currently working on a major redesign that will go live on Aug. 29 so be on the look out for that as well.
Thank you as always for your continued support!
